Question about DNet Dos Clients

Is there any way to run the dos client as some sort of background process? Or can it be the only thing running on the computer? Thanks.

mordrid52,

There may be some way to run it in the background using some sort of 3rd party software, but to the best of my knowledge, there is nothing inherent to the client that will allow this.

I wish I could be more help, but I think the answer is just plain, no. 🙁

There is DOS TCP/IP networking available if you want it to update on a LAN. But, for most folks, they are probably running this as a "sneakernet" project and use a floppy disk to bring in fresh work and remove completed work.

If there is a network card and a LAN to attach to, then Klinux would be best.
