Question about DMA in WIN2k and 4in1 drivers

I installed the final version of the 4in1's, and in my ide controller settings in hardware manager it says ultra dma mode enabled. I have a ata/100 drive. Do I still need to download that MS patch so that win2k will use my full potential for ata/100? Or am I set?

I installed both.
Doesn't hurt if you install MS's patch.

unless you have SP2 installed, you'll need the patch to allow udma100 mode!

What is this patch? Where can I find it? I have 4 in 1 4.29s installed. I have a 75GXP on the promise channel 1.

I don't think there'll be much of a difference installing this after you have the 4.29's installed.
