Question about DigiCam I bought from dell...

I got my canon s230 from Dell today. I opened the box and turns out that the original DigiCam box is not shink wrapped or sealed in anyway. Its almost like they sent me a refurbed camera. My question is was your camera shrink-wrapped or atleast in a sealed box when you got it from Dell ?

If not how do I make sure that bastages didn't send me a refurbed camera ?

Thanks

My Canon a70 wasn't shrink wrapped but I didn't buy it from Dell.

Same goes for the Nikon Coolpix I bought.

Not everything comes shrinkwrapped (motherboards come to mind).

When I sold Cameras for Gateway (in one of their Country Stores), all of our cameras were not sealed. I don't think you have anything to worry about, but that's just my opinion.

I've also experienced this.

The boxes don't have any sort of seal or shrink wrap around them but all of my digicams so far have been BRAND NEW.

I'm just used to receiving new electronics with some sort of shrink wrapping.

exactly,

It's kinda surprising that they don't even bother putting sticker seal on there. If I didn't know its from Dell I would guess it came from some shaddy NY dealer.
