Question about differences in monitoring software

There seems to be a 7 to 11 degree discrepancy between EVGA E-Leet and HW Monitor. Is one supposed to be more accurate than the other?

Looks like none of them have the same numbers but real temp is closer to HW Monitor. I'm wondering what is causing EVGA eleet to report numbers sometimes in excess of 10C higher than the others.

ahhh then i know..

its getting a older Tjunction value.. so its readings are +10...

Most likely not updated on the newer processors.

Last suggestion would be to now try coretemp..

most likely it should be on par with real temp, and hwmonitor...
and if thats the case, then yeah.. the eleet's temp monitor has the wrong tjunction temp.


The slight difference between real temp and hwmonitor is nothing to worry about.
My perfered temp monitor is Real Temp -> Core Temp -> Hwmonitor....

Could be but really shouldn't be as reading Tj target from the CPU has been standard for quite a while now. Seems HWM has problems as well with uncore power being negative, producing power rather than consuming it. CPU's with perpetual power, wouldn't that be great Seriously though seems uncore is just calculated from package power minus the others. Still wrong though with package power being lower than IA core power.

Low temps can be awkward, maybe try temps at heavy load to see the difference better.
