Question about Dell warranty transfer

I know Dell warranty transfer can be done on the website.

Will Dell send out confirmation email to the current owner and/or the previous owner after warranty transfer ?

The guy that bought a Dell laptop from me said he had gotten an email confirmation from Dell for an earlier warranty transfer.

Anyone else wants to share his/her experience with Dell warranty transfer?
