question about dell returns

Does anyone know if Dell has any type of money back guarantee? I tried calling but finally hung up after being on hold for over 45 minutes.
I'm thinking of getting an inspiron 700m but I'm not sure about how well the vid card is in this thing. So if I decide it's not what I need, will Dell take it back or am I SOL?

I wish Dell had a store or kiosk in my area so I could see it in person 🙁

There's a restocking fee, if I recall correctly.

Hardware Products and Accessories: Unless you have a separate agreement with Dell or except as provided in the section below, all hardware, accessories, peripherals, parts and software that is unopened and still in its/their sealed package or, if delivered electronically, that has not been downloaded, may be returned within twenty-one (21) days from the date on the packing slip or invoice for a credit or a refund of the purchase price paid, less shipping and handling and applicable restocking fees.

I have never had to pay a restocking fee...

never even heard of one with Dell...

Ripped from Dell

In my case, that would mean I still wouldn't be able to return it?

they'll charge an ungodly amount to ship it back to them. just do it yourself.

and the 700m graphics aren't spectacular. but it will play dvds and solitaire.

If you're gonna try and play games on the 700m you're better off getting a 600m since it has a radeon 9000.

From all the reviews I've read, the 600m's build quality is flimsy compared to the 700m. Unless someone here has one and would say otherwise 🙂

it has integrated graphics. what are you hoping to do with it?

Well there are a few games that it has to play.

AOE2
AOM
Rise of Nations
Diablo 2

If it could play AOE3, that would be nice but I'm thinking that's asking for too much from this lappy.
