question about Dell OEM WinXP Home

I got a new Dell PC. I have my own WinXP Pro license, so I am planning to format the hard drive and install my own XP pro on it.

My question is: can I still use the Dell OEM XP home on another computer? It says it's for DELL PC only, but I am not sure if I am able to install it on my custom built non-Dell PC. Of course I will only install it on one PC to comply with the license regulation. I figured I'd ask here first.. If it is only compatible with Dell PC, then I won't waste time trying.

Probably not, the Dell OEM XP cd probably checks for a Dell bios. Do a search, this has been discussed before. Besides i t would be illiegal.
