question about Dell modems

I haven't touched a modem in a long, long time, but I need to order a couple Dell boxes for a branch office to dial in to our servers. They offer the following:

1. 56k PCI Data Fax modem
2. 56k PCI Telephony modem

What's the difference and which should I get? They will be using it to dial into our local servers and also to dial up online to grab email. I think the Data Fax modem should do it, but I want to be sure.

Standard Data-Fax Modem will be suffice as the difference I beleive, is that the Telephony can act as a Secretary (ie Voice)

Exactly. No sense spending the money on telephony. I know of no one who uses the voice mail features. A $10 answering machine does a FAR better job.
