I read about how the XPS 700 has an X-Fi card in it that does not support something for games. (Its neutered in some way). On the dell configuration page for both systems the X-Fi has a (D) in it and I assume this means its dells version.
I'd rather get a platnium card aftermarket. I know the dell has front audio ports and in the Anandtech XPS 410 / 9200 review you can see them hooked up to the X-fi. See here
If I don't order the dell with the X-Fi, does the dell still come with that front audio connection cable to hook it up to an X-Fi?
Thanks!
