question about DDR400 memory

Why Samsung memory (like those Corsair XMS) is so expensive? Kingston DDR400 256MB is only $49 on googlegear, but Corsair is $76.

I am looking for the good memory for Dell 8300, P4 3.0C 800Mhz CPU. Will the Kingston work or I have to go with the expensive samsung chip?

Thanks.

but since dell is not overclockable, the kingston DDR400 should be enough, right? I know Samsung memory is faster, but not sure if Kingston is stable ...

yeah definately. Corsair is more for enthusiasts that must have the best memory at the best specs. What I mean is Corsair hand picks the top chips to be used in their memory.
