when i was looking to buy ddr3, i knew the standard was pretty much 1600Mhz with a cas latency of 9. Also that usually the lower the voltage was better it was i.e 1.5v vs 1.65v etc.

so if i wanted enthusiast Ram like 1866 i also had to pick it based on the cas latency and voltage cl9 1.5v or so...and so on.

But now with DDR4 i am a bit lost, i haven't read anything about it and what should i get that would correspond to ddr3 1866 cl9 1.5v ??

That's basically the fastest "normal" DDR3 there is. So equivalent DDR4 would be 3000 or 3333, CL15 @ 1.2v.
