So I'm watching the stupid movie and wonder... If he "sees" via sound waves like radar, couldn't someone kick his butt by just bringing a boom box along with them to confuse him?

well you watched the movie so i assume you saw the part where he got disoriented by the loud sounds in the church

The movie could have been better, if they had used a different actor than Ben Affleck for Matt Murdock. A brick would have been a better choice.
