Question about CULV Laptop's

i need a laptop that can open up 180 degrees and lay flat.

i find this applies to maybe 5% of laptops.

the CULV's have the right battery life. i went down to Best Buy and showed them the battery life print-out from AT's CULV review ... and the guy let me over to Netbooks. none of which open up flat.

does anybody have a CULV laptop OR SIMILAR BUT CHEAPER that can open up flat ?

by similar but cheaper i mean, less than $500.

CULV for under 500 is not going to happen anytime soon. Get your self an IPad if you want something under that price and needs it flat.

Would a swivel screen work? You could always connect a wireless keyboard & mouse. Or, get a monitor + VESA mount PC + wireless keyboard/mouse

The main problem is your $500 ceiling. You can get a Lenovo D350 for $850, and if it is like all Lenovos I have seen, it will open flat 180 degrees. My T60 does that.

Technically the Celeron Dual Core SU2300 is CULV and they're about $400 I believe. Acer 1410 has this chip though I don't know if it'll open flat. I also know there are CULV tablets out there, i think from HP. see if they have a tablet with SU2300 and you could be in business.

Edit:

these are UK market but...
