question about CRT vs. LCD on vision

depends on the person. CRT's do not have persistance which is generally better for your eyes. That being said, I know someone who gets a major headache/eye ache looking at a CRT running at 60 HZ refresh, but he has no problems with LCD's. I also know some people who cant stand to look at an LCD.

Having used LCD's for the past few years I can really see the flicker on a CRT unless the refresh rate is turned up

I had a really nice 19" CRT with high refresh rates and would get headaches after a few hours of use. Since I got a 2005fpw, I get no headaches from the monitor
