Question about crimial law procedures

How can you have items that were seized during a search and seizure warrant returned after the person has been found innocent/guilty? I have read up on the Federal procedures that can be found HEREhere

I just need the stuff they took not pertaining to the "crime" and my wife's stuff they took and her laptop, it has all our the pictures of our kids and tax info for the past 8 years.
