Question about credit

I came accross their page by accident and they have a free trial to check your report and something called a Plus Score for 30 days. Anyways, my question is, is the PLUS score given by CreditExpert.com my definate credit score?

If this is the case, my score is 717 (1 parental unit co-signed credit card, no loans, decent savings and 5-6 student credit card rejections). How good is that? I have 0 negatives and I still get rejected everywhere I apply.

Your score isn't the single deciding factor. Your biggest problem is you have no history. The score is only meaningful in the context of an actual credit history.

How long of a period of time were your rejections spread over? If you've gotten all those rejections recently, quit applying for a while.

Yes, their "PLUS" score is from FICO equation, just their version of FICO.

717 is considered "good" but as stated above you have no history, what are you applying for?

P.S. everytime you apply for credit your score will go down aprox 10 points.

I am more concerned with student loans and I would like to have an AMEX Blue card for students 🙂
