If I pay the minimum, and then make a payment a day after for another amount, and a day after for another amount, do I get three good marks?

No. You get one of two marks:

1) Delinquent, you have a late payment of 30, 60, 90 or more days late.
2) Paid as agreed, you have made all your payments on time.

At the end of the year do you get 12 marks for 12 payments or 200 marks for 200 payments? Neither. There are no "marks" or "points". You're either good or bad, period.

So, how many "paid as agreeds" will show up on my report if i pay $10 now and the balance later in the month?

You don't get any paid as agreed marks. It's either you pay on time and they acknowledge it as that, or you don't pay on time and they mark you down for being delinquent.

There are no "marks". They simply say "Yes, he has paid his bills on time" or "no, he was late". They don't give you bonus points every month for sending them a check.

The replies in here are sort of misleading.

There are no *cumulative* "good" marks. The best you can get is "paid on time." These do not add up. Either you account is on time, or it is NOT on time.

Now - if it is NOT on time, there are PLENTY of cumulative BAD marks.

First it will be not on time.
Then it will be 30 days late.
Then it will be 60 days late.
etc

You can't counteract a bad mark with any sort of good mark - the best you can hope to do is bring the account back up to "on time" but those negative remarks will still remain on your credit report for years.

Exactly.

You don't get a bronze, silver or gold star. You're either CURRENT or LATE period, that's it!

No points or marks!

Argh I'm gonna go crazy and rip out all my hair!
