question about cpu benchmarks

I want to build a pc for CAD & rendering.
I saw in cpu benchmark section at Anandtech portal that there is a lot of kind of benchmarks.
anyone knows where I can find information about these benchs?

I'm not sure what you mean. If you just want to know more about how they are doing the benchmarks then just look up a recent CPU review and they explain the methodology.

You might also want to check out Puget Systems. They do comparisons of CPUs for workstation tasks. They tend to test far more programs than Anandtech if you already know what software you'll be using.

I want to build a pc for CAD & rendering.

Go to the website of the software and look at what kind of technology they support,also search for forums for the software,most of them utilize openCL/CUDA by now so you can speed up a lot of the work with a GPU.
