question about cpu and memory for athlon64.

quick question:

I know the FX series processors require registered memory...I know the Athlon64 4000 (939) can take regular DDR.

Can i use registered memory with an athlon64 4000+ ?
 
No... socket 940 processors (including the Athlon 64 FX for skt940) require registered memory while socket 939 processors don't support registered memory.
