When you arrive at a party together, isn't it appropriate to LEAVE together?

I just got back from a pool party and the people all started smoking weed, so I told my girl (who is pregnant) that I'm leaving. I expected her to say that she'll leave with me but instead says she wanted to stay awhile longer.

Is it OK to be pissed off?

I'd be more pissed that she's hanging around people smoking pot, while she's pregnant.

You shouldn't be pissed about it, this will accomplish nothing but make her defensive. What you should do is explain exactly why it was that her decision made you feel angry. Do it in a very calm way that will encourage open discussion and foster communication.

Eh - depends on the circumstances; was it a friendly "get together" where everyone knows you, or is it with a bunch of strangers? And how much wed smoking was going on?

And how old is this girl anyways?

It was her co-employes at Chili's. It was about a pound of weed. They were eating and smoking it. Some asshole took some out of his mouth and rubeed it on my girlfriends arm. I wanted to beat him with a lead pipe but there was just too much back-up on his side.

I went to a wedding this weekend and When we got back to the hotel I was too drunk to stay up but my wife stayed in the hotel library/sitting area until her carnal thoughts led her upstairs to me.

edit: If you are this insecure about your relationship or if it is this shakey already,I don't forsee you sticking around too long after the birth of your baby.

Wow. If she wasn't uncomfortable staying at a weed smoking party while pregnant, even while you were leaving, I predict less than 2 years.

Wait, these people had a pound of weed and were eating it? As in just grabbing a handful of marijuana out of the bag and chowing down?

Yeah...shens.

Because she wouldn't drop everything and leave when you were ready? Of course not.

Now what the hell she's doing around a bunch of smokers when she's preggers, I just don't get, but it doesn't change anything.

no .... they werent

a pound of weed for people working at a chilis?
Even though your in Texas its doubtful that an chilis employees bought entire pound it was just sitting there. If these guys sell its possible.

The deal breaker is the eating part, anybody that would have a pound of bud would know that eating it is just a big waste.

You should draw a picture showing how the situation made you feel and then show her the picture, explaining that you'll be back in hour to talk about it.

The person throwing the party is an registered nurse. He my have stolen medical marijuana fomr the hospital or something but I swear to god it was a huge pile of weed.

She explained that the only reason she was there after I left is because her best friend's boyfriend wasn't there to pick her up and that she didn't want my girl to leave her alone at the party. So they stayed away from the weed smoke (thank God) over by the guys pool.

Also, the guy who owned the weed was gay and their house smelled like weed BAD!

My girl says she had no idea they were gonna do weed and says that she hates being around it. She says we are never going to their parties again.

Call me old fashioned, but you went together... you should have left together.

If she was so concerned with her best friend, you could have given her a ride home along the way.

Just my opinion.
