You all know that this particular memory from Corsair runs at DDR500 (250MHz x 2). But if one has a CPU FSB of 200MHz (quad-pumped to 800MHz), would it bring down the memory to 200MHz too? So to get the most out of the memory (to run it at 250MHz), does one need to overclock the CPU FSB to 250MHz?

Well, you'd be running your processor at 3.75ghz, if you run it at a 250mhz fsb. You can make the ram run faster than the processor's fsb, as long as your bios has a setting for it. If it does, you would want to set it to 4:5, which would have your ram running at 250mhz, assuming your processor's fsb is 200.

How would I know if my motherboard supports RAM clock speeds greater than the FBS of the cpu? My mobo is in the sig.

I have the same motheroard, it does not allow for 4:5. It has a memory frequency setting with 4 options. Auto, 400 Mhz (1:1), 333 Mhz (5:4) and 266 Mhz (3:2). So with that board, you cannot run the memory higher than the processor.

Yep. SOL for the memory - I would suggest trying to swap for 3200XL memory which would give you much tighter timings at 200MHz FSB. I have that mem and it works great at 250+, I am running 266MHz right now with 2.5 timings, but you won't get CAS 2 out of it even at 200MHz.
