Question about computer speakers..

What is the cheapest I can find a single computer speakerand is there an adapter or something that I can use so I can turn the headphones on when I want to use those and the speaker when I want to use those. The reason why I want this is because sometimes I want to listen to the speakers, and sometimes I want to listen to the headphones.. but dont want to have to go to the back of the PC everytime I want to switch.

Most speakers have a knob, just turn the volume to zero when you want to listen to the headphones.

Yeah, many speakers havea bypass switch (either auto when you plug stuff in or whatever)

Otherwise a splitter will still have the headphoens as part of the circuit and you will need to pump up the colume....
