Question about colors...

I don't see how any combination of red and blue can be used to make yellow. But I do think yellow and blue can make green.

So why is it that RGB signals (red, green, blue) is all it takes to render any color on a computer monitor?

they're the essential colors that for the most part make up all other colors. look at a color pyramid
