question about Circuit City policy

I bought a Sony F717 from Circuit City couple weeks ago. I had them pricematch Ritz Camera from $799 to $599. Today I thought I saw on TV circuit city is having $100 off every digital camera, although i could have heard wrong. Assuming i heard correctly, will they lowest price policy let me get an additional $100 off on my camera? it hasn't been 30 days yet. i will call them in the morning, but want to know what to expect. thanks much.

They will usually honor the low price guarantee for up to 30 days. It will not work though because you still paid less.

With $100 off, their price is $699. You had it previously adjusted to $599 so you already paid less. You will not get any more money back unless the person you deal with is really dumb.

btw, there is no such promo....just gift cards with purchase, $50 is the max for the GC. You could try that, but your only bet would to be to go in when it is busy, find a *ditzy* csr are make sure anyone tech savy doesn't see the price...$450 for the 717 would be a steal.

oh well, i suppose i still got a great deal because sony has the $100 rebate so i only pay $480 plus tax....i was just being a greedy whore
