question about chinese windows xp

spanky

Lifer
a family friend from china recently gave a desktop pc to my aunt in hong kong. apparently, windows xp "chinese simplified" is installed on the pc. people in hong kong, from what i am told, read and write "chinese traditional". is it possible to convert windows xp from chinese simplified to chinese traditional? i have a feeling that "windows xp chinese simplified" and "windows xp chinese traditional" are treated as entirely different operating systems.... kind of like "windows xp english" vs "windows xp french". can someone shed some light into this matter? thank you.

there are seperate installers for traditional and simplified...

You should look for a Multi Language Pack to change the settings, may work.
