Question about changing the username

Okay, I've been thinking about changing my username to something else - to make sure that it's available, I looked it up through the user search.

Unfortunately, it was taken - however, that user was on for only 2 months, the last time they logged on during June of 2004, with 44 posts - or does that matter? Can I petition the mods/admin to change my username if that's the case?

Yeah - I remember him too - but the guy I'm thinking of was a regualr poster - mroe than 44 posts, no? Or am I thinking of Schadenfroh?

Schadenfroh was a lifer until he asked them to ban him so he could get his schoolwork done. I think he came back tho.

Schadenfreuse made a brief forray into the video forum and then left. He might still come back tho; you can just jack his account like that.

But the last time he's logged in was 1 1/2 years ago - I mean, I'd hate to jack the guy's account like that as well, and wouldn't even think of it if he was ever remotely a regular user - but would this count? I've PM'd a moderator so I guess I'll find out soon enough.

There's some kind of policy about the account being inactive for 2 years. As Apu would say, "thank-you, come again (in 6 months)".
