Question about changing ATI cards ?

If I take out my X800XL, and I'm already running CCC 6.6, and I drop in my X1900GT, do I have to uninstall, clean, and reinstall CCC 6.6? (this is on XP SP2)

You shouldn't have to, but considering it only adds a couple minutes to the Install it wouldn't hurt doing it anyway.

no it will automatically adjust ot the new card. In some rare cases, it wont happen and you will have to reinstall but for the most part you are in the clear. I went from a 9800pro, flashed it to a 9800xt bios with all the overdrive functions and it adjusted fine without any sort of reinstall. Then I downgraded to a 8500le with no poblems.

no i think CCC will be fine but you will have to reinstall Catalyst 6.6
