Question about CAT5 wiring schemes (T568A vs T568B)

I recently ran some CAT5 cable through my house walls for my home LAN. After doing so, I had to install some CAT5 ends for the wall plates. The ends I bought gave the option of 2 wiring schemes - T568A and T568B. Not having a clue which to use, I chose B. I got everything wired up, and when I was connecting the patch cables into the wall plates, I noticed the following on the patch cables themselves:

Approved T568A

Bummer. Thinking I had guessed wrong on the wiring scheme and would have to rewire them, I decided to give it a shot and see if it worked with the B scheme. To my surprise, it did.

So, my questions are:

-What's the difference between T568A and T568B?
-Am I okay using T568B, or should I rewire them?

You don't need to rewire them, because the wiring are in perfect order except that T568B are swap (Green & Orange pair) just make sure you get both end of the wire in the wall setup using the same method.
