Question about car leasing

Does anyone know if car dealerships will give you credits if you return a leased car (at the end of the lease agreement) with well under the allowed miles?

our lease is 'use them or lose them' with mileage.. and we are way under too.

I kind of recall that my dad's leases through nissan in canada may have given some credit, though if there was one it was obviously far less than the penalty for going over.
