AAA auto insurance agent wants my social security number to lookup my car accident history.. Isn't the history kept under my driver's license #?

DL #s won't tell your entire driving history. For example, if you've moved from another State you will have an entirely different DL #. SS # allows them to trace your history regardless if the DL #.
