Question about Camden Yards

dabuddha

So I'm looking to purchase tickets to a game for a group of us. I've narrowed it down to section 55 and I've been comparing stubhub with mlb.com (they use tickets.com I think). from the MLB site, it's $30 a ticket for row 5 while @ stubhub it's $26 for row 11. Much of a difference view wise? Cause that $6 will almost buy us each a beer!

Cliffs:
Camden Yards
Row 5 vs row 11

Sidenote: Is it still called Camden Yards or did they name it some other crap?

TIA!

Terrace level, so it's not like it's going to make much of a difference other than you'll be ten feet closer.

Not sure why this is a thread.

why not watch it on tv w/your friends instead?
save ALOT of $, unless u like being raped?

Fun outing for us (break from the kids too). We plan on hitting up a restaurant before the game as well. Plus the fact that my beloved Rangers will be in town to crush the Os 😀

Never been to Camden Yards so wasn't sure how high each row is compared to the one in front of it. Don't want my view blocked by a 7 foot behemoth.

I usually just get scalped tickets on game day. Cheaper than stubhub and the seats are still great.

And yes, it's still called Camden Yards.

For the Nats games I usually go with scalped tickets as well. Especially since it's just a couple of us going. This games going to have about 11 people total including 2 of my bosses lol

Yeaaah. You're going to have to bite the bullet on this one.

seatgeek.com is nice in that it searches multiple vendors and assigns each ticket a score based on historical prices and view. It makes it easy to find good deals. Theoretically, you can put in your game and it will find the tickets for sale and tell you which is a better deal (and maybe some even better ones).

It doesn't actually sell the tickets, it just helps you find the ticket sellers.

Isn't the area around Camden Yards nice? Well, OK, nice compared to the rest of Baltimore.

yeah i'm just giving baltimore shit. camden yards is actually really nice. i haven't been there in like 15 years though and back then it was really nice. i see it when driving on 95 passing through the shithole that is baltimore though, which is rare to be going up that way.

shit where the nationals stadium in dc is located used to be REALLY rough but they've really built it up down there too.
