i've been having caffeine the past few days. i have not had this good a night's rest in sooooo long. why does caffeine help me sleep?

i don't drink coffee or anything. i try to avoid soda as carbonization annoys me.

Hmmm. I always thought caffeine would have the opposite effect. They say to not drink caffeine 4-6 before you go to sleep.

what kind of 'caffeine' are you having? what's the sugar content?? too much caffeine and sugar for me also renders me sleepy. so, it's not just Mday, and yes, i'm human! :D

I can have a full glass of Coke and still make it to bed soundly. I'm just THAT addicted.

Caffiene only works short-term. When the effects of caffiene go away, you're more tired than before.

cuz after being amped all day you crash at night and are therefore able to sleep.

Probably it acts like Ritalin, the drug used in attention deficit disorders. On hyperactive people, Ritalin helps them slow down even though its a stimulant.
