Question about buying a new CPU..

My bro is trying to talk me into a Xp 2100 Tbred-B and a new mobo and cooling system that supports it. My current CPU is a XP 1700. I play a lot of games with a GF4 Ti 4200, since I dont have lots of cash should I get this or wait for the Athlon 64 or Prescott?

BTW, The 2100 would end up OC'ed to 2700. 😉

 
You have a pretty good rig. I would wait for athlon 64 or prescott, whatever your preference. I used to swap mobos often, but they're getting harder to sell used since Fry's electronics came to Austin.
