Question about bus segregation

I don't see many advantages to sitting in the front of the bus. In fact, whenever I ride the bus it seems most people prefer the back.

So were the actions of black people in protest to the segregation of the bus, or to the fact that they had worse seats? If it was to protest segregation, why didn't any white supporters of civil rights take a stand and sit in the back of the bus?

It's a mindset put into us in school. Sitting in the back is cool because you're farther away from the driver and can get away with more. Also, sitting behind the rear axle has many implications for people that get motionsick easily.

the white supporters of civil rights probably did sit in the back of the bus...

also, when something is the law / the thing to do - you usually mind your own business.

in my experience, when i rode the school bus, people preferred the back.

but when i ride the city bus, everyone prefers the front. what kind of bus are you talking about?

City bus. Most people go to the back because the front is reserved for the elderly/disabled, so by going further back you're saving yourself the trouble of having to give up your seat.

Fvck that....I'm not giving up my seat no matter how many cripples want to ride the bus...... fvcking abilitist(?).

I like the bus. Being further back from everyone else in a way shows seniority. Well, that's how it is for my school...

Anyways, you can to make stupid random gestures to the vehicle tailing you.

We once had a drunk driver following us at 3:00PM...at one point he swered completely into the other lane.

That's usually how drunk people drive -- recklessly.
