Nonattachment. If you have sex you risk fixating on worldly pleasures and lose track of the ultimate goal of enlightenment.

But there are other pleasures; not just sex. I mean, massaging your muscles, tasting good food, are these not pleasures in some form? Why is it limited to sex?

it's not limit to sex, and also, only the monks have to do it.

there are six things to avoid... when they take the oath they get the marks on their forehead, you should be able to Google it.

sex, meat, and other things...

Monks do, just as monks in other religions do. Buddhist laypeople are allowed to have sex.

Also, only some sects of Buddhism are vegetarian. The historical Buddha was not and many Buddhists do eat meat. Typically in China and Japan they don't.
