Question about BSOD?

My system works fine in Win95B, but when running in safe mode I get the
infamous BSOD if I try to access "Windows Exploring" with my mouse. It
basically sez "Fatal Exception 0D at F000:0000E4AE". Any Window's gurus out there that could help me track down this problem? TIA

Is the BSOD usually SW or HW related?

I'm not sure if win95 has system file checker but suggest you run it for corrupt or damaged files if it's there. start/run & type SFC!

First of all, why are you running in Safe Mode? Are you trying to sort out a problem?

Yes, I was...a sound card problem, which is ok now.
