Question about bondo usage on car

I'm fixing up some sections of rust on my car and have a question about bondo. If I get ambitious enough I'm going to end up sanding my whole car down and having the whole thing repainted after I prep it myself so the colors all match up accurately.

If I leave the bondo exposed without any primer/paint to cover it and it rains outside, will that be an issue at all?
