I was recently given a 21 inch monitor for free,
the catch was, it uses BNC connectors.
There's 3 on the back for Red Green and Blue.
All the cables I find on eb@y are BNC cables with 5 connectors
Red, green, blue , horizontal and vertical.
Anyone know if I can use those 5 BNC cables and use the RGB and leave the vert/horz out? or is there a specific one I need to get?
Thanks for your help

What brand monitor is that? All monitors with BNC connectors should have 5 connectors that I know of. Also, don't all monitor have DB15 connector if BNC connectors exist. It doesn't make sense to separate the color but not the frequency?

The cable is the least of your problem, and yes the 5 bnc cable will work. However if the monitor only has 3 inputs your video card needs to provide sync on green. Check your V/C specs to see if it supports sync on green.

Good Luck
