Im subscribed to a tracker that requires you to have a 1.00 share ratio, but when I leave BT open, it doesnt upload to anyone. My status light is always on Yellow, and I have forwarded the required ports through my router (Netgear RT314), as well as giving it permission in Norton. Any help would be appreciated. Mods, sorry if this is post is against the rules.

God help you people if They ever give me Admin rights here. Neffing in OT I can tolerate...I do it too; but that's what OT is for. But there are UMTEEUMP other forums for every other Goddman thingtopicass out there. USE one.
 
First off, I am unsure but maybe with that tracker you need to seed something first to beable to get some uploaded data... because if you started a torrent and have never run one before on that tracker, you would instantly be below 1.0 share... so you wouldnt be connected?

It sounds like you covered all bases, so thats my only guess...

Secondly this probably belongs in the software forums, it shouldnt be against the rules, talking about a program isnt, telling people how to use it to grab illegal software however would be.
 
You're probably getting well seeded torrents and are getting on them late. If a lot of people already have the file and there aren't many (or any) others who want it, then you won't upload anything.

Get on a fresh torrent and you'll be alright.
 
My Bittorrent tentatively ceases to output it's tumultuous testimonial in torrential downpours. Is it temporarilly teasting me? Or temporarily tempting to temporarily tease me?
