Question about BF2 and the sniper gun...

i hear you, in the unlocked setup you get a 50bmg based rifle. 1 shot from one of these in the upper torso should kill a person as it would in real life, let alone a head shot.

a friend of mine and i were messing around with the different rifles, and the all seem to be ok except the sniper rifles. i say this because with most other weapons there will be a little movement even with 3rnd burst, but a sniper rifle is aimed and there is usually no movement as the shooter is usually atleast kneeeling, if not prone and you should hit pretty close to the area you aim for.

ea needs to up the damage inflicted with a sniper rifle.

Its hard to get in 3 shots. After the first hit on the target they're usually running for cover.. and a moving target is damn hard to hit from a distance.

I agree... sniper rifle should be a two-shot kill. Getting 3 shots in on even an average player is quite difficult and rare, especially with the reload time.

yep it's so simple to deal with snipers. after the first hit just hide and heal up. then run off to the side sneak up behind him for the kill :laugh:
