Hey guys, I was just wondering what the standard practice to keep battery life good on these cameras were. Can I just leave in a freshly charged battery until I need to charge it again? Or if it's half charged due to use, do I take it out and put it back in when I plan to use the camera again a lot?

i don't think any of those old issues are supposed to apply to li-ion batteries.

Nope,Li Ion batteries will last the same length in the camera as outside the camera.

I change my Li-ION batteries when the camera indicator suggests it. Otherwise, they stay in.

On trips I always carry two spares plus a charger. I've never had a "dead" camera.
