Question about banner ads.

Are they all being served from anandtech servers? I am currently seeing this banner add, noticed that it was not being served from anandtech like some of the more obvious tech ones (like that great RAM BUS ones). Wondering if Gator was doing this . . . which unfornatly I need to have installed, and stupidly let get past my firewall once.

Moderator response about that ad on 6/19: "Anand has left standing instructions with our ad agency not to show flashing banner ads. Sometimes, they do not listen.
I have reported this to him."

I guess that always they do not listen as I see it all the time.

I know you'll think you can beat the system, but you really can't... give in and subscribe... the speed alone is worth it...
