Hi fellow ATOT'ers
I have a question about my car insurance. Here is my background:
August 1st, 1999 - age 16 - received a speeding ticker for 22 mph over limit (77 in a 55)
May 29th, 2000 - age 17 - received a speeding ticket for 18 over, went to court, I pled guilty to a faulty brake light instead of speeding
I am now 19 and work for the federal government. I heard that Geico has special rates for government employees (can anyone verify???) but I am unsure if I need to claim my speeding ticket from August 1st 1999. I was under 18 years of age, so I would think my record is sealed ... and I know that points expire once you turn 18....
When I call Geico, do I have to mention that I got a speeding ticket over 3 years ago???? I am assuming my rates will drop big time. And to all the people who are going to question me, I don't speed anymore, that is why I have any more tickets
Please help a poor college boy trying to pay tuition and insurance!:Q
