Where is the actual .wav file that auto-installs as the start-up sound on their splash screen?
Also, are there any good sites out there that have similar sound files I could use to replace windows default sounds?

Good question! What's causing that 2nd sound (the Audigy one) to play? I've checked the System Sounds list and it's not there, so what's the dealeo, yo?

this might help:

<< Did you ever wonder (at least when running Windows XP) why there is a second startup sound when you boot up and you have an Audigy installed? The reason for it is the Creative splashscreen that runs on startup. (On my PC it does not even get displayed except in safe mode.)
If you want to know how to disable it read more...

You can disable the splash screen on startup as follows:

Click on Start -> Programs -> Creative -> SB Audigy -> Creative EAX
Click on the Settings icon as shown below
Uncheck the Load on Startup option
