Hey, I believe i may have to rma my x800 pro, some lines are starting to appear at certain boot ups but are fixed after restart. Ive tried resetting and stuff, but didnt help. My question how long does it usually take them to get my card back. Also do they repair or just pop you another one in the mail? Please help.

Also is 469.99 too much for a vanilla xt and is sapphire and good brand? The damn pro messed up on me, might as well sell it when i get the new one for an xt. What do you think?

OH Yeah, how do you ship it, do your put it in the retail box or just in static and a generic box? Thanks.

I am not sure about ATI but my advice is that with any RMA ..use a very crisp box and make it look very professional and pack the card in the same manner.

Its my opinion that if you come off to the RMA dept as a serious and careful person this will result in a speedy RMA process and at the very least at least help things out.

a few tips:
Dont use a used crappy old box , use a new crisp one.
Print out the address lable with your printer.
Use one piece of tape on each end of the box...its just a video card , no need to get out of hand with the tape.
Clean the dust off the card with canned air before boxing it up, make sure there are no fingerprints on it.
Dont use newspaper inside , use packing peanuts
Lastly , double box it
