Question about ASPM in Vista

I finally got around to installing this copy of Vista I've had and I was going through the power settings. There's a setting that apparently turns off PCI-E lanes when they're not in use or something. Does anyone have any experience with this setting and is it going to hamper my gaming if I set it to maximum power saving?
