hi friends this is krishna. present im working on PL/SQL ,i Would like to move as400 technology.can any one suggest me how's openings on it? do we have any future on it? plzzzzz suggest me at

AS400 is not IBM mainframe. Mainframe is zSeries, and will run a few OS's but not AS400.

AS400 and AIX boxes merged at a hardware level starting at POWER 5 release close to 10 years ago.

Now, you buy the POWER box, and licensing for whhichever OS you plan to run AIX or i5/OS (used to be called AS400). You can license both on the same POWER system as long as you have an HMC to run the show, then you can create multiple LPARs. Linux is also supported on POWER systems.
