Question about AS 5 and Ceramique...

I've been looking at some AS 5 and Ceramique, both seem good, but which one is better in your opinion.

AS 5 has slightly better heat transfer (read, gives you lower temps) but the ceramique is completely non-conductive and much easier to clean up. For my setup I used AS 5 for CPU and VPU and Ceramique for graphics card ram.

Both are good and people swear by each. The difference in performance is small so it's really your choice, do you like slightly lower temps or a slightly easier cleanup?

I personally use AS5 for CPUs and VPUs. Ceramique for older CPUs and ram.

The temperature difference is negligible. If you're unsure about applying the silver, go for ceramique. Getting it on your motherboard won't cause a short.

Indeed. Some will actually get slightly better temps from Ceramique, myself included.
There are simply too many variables with all the different configurations out there
for one paste to be best in ALL situations.

Given that I'd recommend Ceramique as it's much easier to remove than AS5 if the need ever arises.
And it's not electrically capacitive like AS5 either.

I use AS Ceramique, the AS 5 is thick and takes about a month to work at its max, I do not like it.

I've also heard (unconfirmed) that ceramique is good for large area processors. On stuff that requires more than a dab to cover the entire area, thus I use it on my Xeons.
