What are the guidelines for 'appropriate' topics? As of late, I see a lot of mod discrimination. This place used to be a bit more open, but the standards have tightened quite a bit. So are there any new taboos/unspoken rules to topics?
What can we post about and what can we not? I haven't seen any definitive patterns in recent thread locking, so I was wondering if we could get a discussion going on what we, as OT people, find appropriate for the forums. I, myself, am not easily offended, and think nearly any topic is fair game. I do believe standards should be set for a community, though.
As a relative lurker (.8 or so posts a day), I generally have spurts of post and read activity. There are some of you hard core ATers out there who have a better feel for the current atmosphere. So what do you guys find appropriate, and what is not?
