Question about AntiAliasing

Now that I have acquired an 8800GT and I can actually care about AA and visual quality while gaming, Is there a visual/performance difference between the AA settings using the Nvidia Control Panel and AA settings in games?

I force everything through the control panel.

Same here. That way it stays standard and I know the AA is designed specifically for use on my card brand (nVidia).

If the game has AA settings, it's usually best to use those as they sometimes will apply AA more selectively. You can then use the "Enhance AA' option in the NvControl Panel to decide what type of Anti Aliasing is used(I.E. CSAA, SS, MS).
